Desc & Thoughts: Lila's main color is mauve and she wears a fusion of Japanese and Chinese inspired clothes due to her mixed heritage. Her Balenciaga crocs inspired shoes and her geta sandals are still the coolest doll shoes I own. She is my first doll as an adult doll collector and I love her so dearly. Her clothes are so well constructed and impressive. I'm in love with every part of her design. Generally, I feel this way about all RH/SH dolls though, because of how perfect I find her already, I don't do much restyling or even hair restyling.

Desc & Thoughts: Draculaura wears an outfit that's definitely inspired by Cher in Clueless and it's so well executed. She comes with a cape I have never put on her. I love the first line of the Gen 3 Monster High dolls. Particularly Drac and Frankie!! I found this design simple but perfect.

Desc & Thoughts: Monique has such a unique design!! Something about her is so mesmerizing and cutesy despite snakes being a cool primary motif. She wears a dress with dramatic layers and an iridescent shine which is reminiscent of snake skin. To me she looks like a jellyfish in the best way possible.

Desc & Thoughts: Twyla's design is not too different from her Gen 1 design, but I'm fine with that!! It's a nice sweater and skirt with super cool shoes (that have super impressive molds). I think her updated look is so cozy and cute and I love her bonnet and poofy wavy hair combo. I also find her design to be simple and perfect.

Desc & Thoughts: Immediately fell in love with this Frankie as soon as I laid my eyes on them. I loveee the funky blazer outfit and asymmetrical boots so much. While the pleather and bike shorts soon became a plague to MH G3 designs later on, this was still when it was fresh and cute! This is also one of my favorite Frankie color schemes.

Desc & Thoughts: Her outfit is lackluster athleisure but I love that you can actually tie her sneakers. I have a silly reason for why I have two of these. I basically wanted to buy JH Karma to make a custom of Nahida from Genshin Impact. I was for some reason struggling to buy her so I asked my dad if he could try and then we both accidentally bought her. And I really liked the base doll so I decided to keep both. One will... eventually... become a Nahida custom. But anyways, I actually find this Karma much cuter than her older RH counterpart.

Desc & Thoughts: I love her butterfly motif as well as all the clothing pieces she comes with. She's wearing a Y2K inspired sparkly butterfly top, a dramatic pink fur coat, cute butterfly shaped glasses, and a cute butterfly charm on her jeans.! My first LOL Surprise!! I remember seeing her and Darcy Blush at the mall and being super indecisive on who to get.

Desc & Thoughts: I was so lucky with this sale. The box had super ripped up packaging and probably why it was discounted for so low, but dolls themselves and their stands were still there!! Out of the two twins, Naomi is definitely my least favorite but I still love her fur coat and "cracked" rainbow boots. "Oil slick purple and black" is such a cool color scheme generally.

Desc & Thoughts: Genuinely gasped when I saw her in the clearance section. I love her pigtails and her preppy two piece outfit. She comes with shiny thigh high socks and super cute heels. The bubble gum mold also makes her have a unique look. The clothes are once again, impressively constructed and of such high quality. I also really loved her (and her sister's) fabric purses that they come with. Fabric bags are so rare these days.

Desc & Thoughts: I'm not a big fan of the outfits Lagoona comes with, but I love the base doll. She has the ugliest bike shorts and hoodie I've seen in my life. I love a girl with super large and bulbous eyes. I was definitely inspired by people who restyle Lagoona Pink in more tropical clothing when I made her these clothes. Her top is made from an old top of mine and her bottom are some old skinny jeggings. It definitely could be remade with more craftsmanship but I'm still proud of how it looks now.

Desc & Thoughts: I'm also not that big of a fan of the outfits that Meena comes with: She wears a top with a saree inspired look and her second outfit seems to be langa inspired. But as one of a few explicitly South Asian dolls, I still really wanted to get her. When I visited India in Summer 2023, I bought small fabric scraps at a fabric/clothing store where we usually buy fabric. And then an auntie of mine very kindly sewed her a pattu langa for me!! She turned out so well, super elegant and fits right in with my other RH dolls.

Desc & Thoughts: One of my fav doll youtubers, Darling Dollz, worded this the best: Do I think her doll looks a bit like she chews on sheet metal for fun? Yes, but in a cute way :). I lovee her dress, the embroidery and the construction and the flowers are everything, and her cage skirt is SO cool!! I also just love her being a fae as well. Her silver elf ear cuffs are SO cool and make her stand out.

Desc & Thoughts: My favorite Cleo at the time. The color scheme of her outfits are gorgeous. She comes with a shimmery blue skirt, two crop tops, and some bike shorts. I was super disappointed by the gold coat being super flimsy and nothing like the stock photos though. Still, I think she looks great.

Desc & Thoughts: Abbey (& Spectra) were my favorite characters as a kid so I was so excited for her to be back. I really like her base doll and outfit but I immediately had plans for giving her a new outfit. She comes with shimmery lavender flared pants and a long sleeve top. I made her eyes slightly smaller, pink lips, and larger teeth. I also made her some clothes out of socks, lace, and purple fabric from Micheal's. She's so daughter and one of my favorite dolls ever. Just looking at her fills me with so much joy. I might need to reroot her polypropylene though, for now it feels fine but...

Desc & Thoughts: The original Strawberry Shortcake doll. She has such an iconic design!! Super glad to have her!! She comes with a cute spotted red dress that has an apron attached, cute striped tights, cute shoes, and the most iconic strawberry bonnet.. She's very brittle and already a little broken so I have to be super careful with her. I need to use pimple cream to fix the discoloration on her arm that is probably from a plastic eating fungus. I also need to wash the plastic by leaving her in a bath and then hand wash her clothes. I also want to clean up the loose threads on her clothing. I also need to wash her hair too.

Desc & Thoughts: I was super excited to see her in store. I love her outfits and concept and her face is gorgeous. She comes with a maxi skirt with a high leg cutout and fluffy feathers. Her other outfit is a sequined two piece dress and top with a feather boa. She's super photogenic. I hope to finish the trio and get the other two divas one day. She looks so lonely by herself.

Desc & Thoughts: She's so cute!! Her outfit has such cute colors and patterns (even though the top is molded) and her shoes are so cute. I usually place her with Abbey and pretend they're sisters. Her hair is made out of the softest nylon ever, I would lovee to just run my fingers through it forever. Her face is also so gorgeous and so detailed in a way that almost looks like an OOAK faceup.

Desc & Thoughts: Her color scheme is soo gorgeous. I love how she looks currently and the boots are so cool. She comes with a camo and beige mini skirt and top with cool belt details with the matching thigh high boots. And she has such a well constructed jacket. But I definitely want to restyle her in some off-white warm cotton dress over jeans combo so she can look more fairy-like rather than a camo-wearing baddie. Still, I love her and her freckles.

Desc & Thoughts: My other jellyfish doll. Her base doll is much more interesting than her outfit though. She wears this two piece with little balls glued onto it and some cool embroidery on the top. Her shoes are pretty basic though. The freckles and the blush and the hair color is amazing. I love strawberry blonde hair. I would definitely restyle her but I never got to it!! I'm considering also giving her a fairy-like outfit so she can match with Olivia Woods. They'd look super cute together, I love a pink + green combo !!

Desc & Thoughts: I love her design so much. A mix between a Japanese middle school girl and a preppy school uniform is so creative!! She comes with this pink jacket, sailor top, and a plaid blue skirt. Her colors are so cute and I love her fluffy curly hair. I wanted to lean into her eyes being huge anime eyes so I repainted it to be similar to Cure Precious' eyes. I kind of regret giving her blue/purple eyes rather than keeping her brown eyes though.

Desc & Thoughts: Based on stock photos, I was not that interested in her, but seeing her in person made me fall in love. She comes with this super cool blouse and dress with a bulky but still impressive cape. Her neck ruffle collar and boots are also very cute. And I love the details in her nails. The zippers and her humongous safety pin earrings are also super cute. Another well designed and well constructed outfit.

Desc & Thoughts: I love her outfit and design so much, I love a cute pink doll. Basic top but a cute tutu and sleeves. But once I finally got my hands on her, I was super disappointed because I didn't realize her hair was polypropylene. If you don't know, there's multiple type of doll hair materials and polypropylene is known for being the worst feeling (super rough) and also not long lasting (disintegrates in 10 years). It felt so terrible. I will reroot her hair with white and black hair since I didn't care much about her "changes colors under sunlight" gimmick anyways.

Desc & Thoughts: She's everything I held her up to be. Another simple but perfect character design. The clothing pieces are such high quality and nice colors. She comes with a short sleeve jacket with matching trackpants. Her top is so well-made and she also has a cute pleated skirt. I know LOL OMG faces are contentious but I lovee them, they're so cute!! I love her makeup, blue eyeshadow and brown skin is one of my favorite combos. She's just a good and not too-in-your-face callback to Y2K fashions.

Desc & Thoughts: I bought her because I had some grand ideas for a custom that I never got around to finishing (anyone else noticing a pattern?). But seriously, I'll put my ideas and my progress so far on her own page. I've beheaded her, got rid of her hair, shrunk her head, and rerooted her. Currently I'm sanding her body to paint.

Desc & Thoughts: I've been wanting to 3D model and print a doll of my own for a while now. I wanted to make her have drawn-on eyes, Nahida-like elf ears, and similar proportions to G3 Abbey Bominable. She's wearing a jeans skirt made out of my old jeans and a top stolen from Meena Fleur. Her wig is from AliExpress that I had to sew to make smaller but I lowkey made it too small and also I find rooted hair to be much less of a hassle. This Kusum is actually the second version of her that I made, the first version had messed up proportions and joints. I plan to improve the joints and make more versions, then eventually 3D print her in resin.

Desc & Thoughts: G3 Catty is a cute base doll and I'm not a big fan of her outfit. It's a dress with a layered look but it looks a bit too stiff and ill fitting and the sleeves were super paper and flimsy. The boots are okay I guess but it definitely needs to be painted. I also am not that big on high pony tails and no hair parting. She is so gorgeous though. I love her black skin tone, especially in comparison to G1 Catty since they mixed in blue/purple hues which looks like how very dark, cool-tone skin is on people. Her face mold is also just the cutest, I love her smile. I love her big tail and her body shape!! She's definitely on the restyle list.

Desc & Thoughts: I don't know what came over me. I have been wanting to collect Blythes, but I don't really have the money for that. And also I wanted to make a custom Blythe doll first. I prefer the aesthetic of Stock Neo-Blythe dolls so my custom will stay true to that vision. My plans and updates will be on her on her own page. I am honestly in love with her. While obviously, she doesn't have an authentic face mold, she looks so unique. The fact that she was initially made for kids in the 70s is crazy to me because dolls with thin eyelashes and simple makeup would not sell currently. I made her this top using a doll clothing pattern from Dolly*Dolly issue 2. I've also added it on my sewing pattern page.
